Khachapuri - fried in a pan

Khachapuri in a pan is a simplified version of Georgian cheese bread that can be cooked without an oven. The dough is kneaded with kefir and soda, the filling is made from suluguni cheese or a mixture of cheeses. The flatbreads are fried in a covered pan until golden brown on both sides. Served hot with butter. Great option for quick baking with tea or as a main dish. Children especially like the stretchy cheese filling.
