In a bowl, mix yolks, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and honey.

Beat with mixer until creamy yellow mass forms.

Add flour with baking soda, mix dough with spatula. Spread on baking sheet. Shape as desired.

Spread black currants over dough. Use slightly thawed or frozen, gently pressing in.

Bake the Breton cake for about 15–20 minutes at 160–170 degrees Celsius, watching for a golden color. Transfer it hot onto a rack with the parchment paper, and once cooled, cut it however you like. I cut it into segments.
