Pour milk into a saucepan, place over heat and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to medium and add a pinch of salt.

Add the rolled oats.

Cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal reaches your desired consistency. Cover with a lid, remove from heat, and set aside.

Toast the nuts in a small skillet, shaking occasionally to avoid burning.

Once the nuts become fragrant, transfer them to a plate and set aside.

Melt the butter in the same skillet and add brown sugar and a pinch of coarse salt.

Stir until the sugar dissolves and begins to boil.

Slice the bananas and add them to the skillet. Fry for 1–2 minutes.

Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sugar mixture thickens.

Place a few banana slices in each bowl and fill with porridge.
