Step 1
Chop the cranberries finely.
Step 2
Grind the almonds in a blender. Make 1/4 cup coarse (small pieces) and another 1/4 cup into fine powder.

Mix dry ingredients (flour, corn flour, ground almonds – powder only, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon).
Step 4
Beat the butter with the egg. Add vanilla, almond liqueur, and orange zest. Add the dry mixture and beat until smooth. Add chopped almonds and cranberries.
Step 5
Flour the work surface. Shape the dough into a log.
Step 6
Wrap in baking paper. Chill for one hour.
Step 7
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the log into 1 cm thick pieces.
Step 8
Bake for about 10–12 minutes. Cool on a rack.
