Cheese-Topped Baked Mussels
Fresh mussels in shells baked under golden cheese crust. Drizzled with garlic butter, topped with grated cheese and baked for 10 minutes. Served with lemon wedges and white wine. Perfect romantic dinner appetizer with Mediterranean flair.

| beer | 0.5 cup |
| breadcrumbs | 1 cup |
| grated cheese | 0.5 cup |
| Garlic | 3 clove |
| Olive oil | 80 ml |
| Salt | to taste |
| Pepper | to taste |

Place the cleaned mussels into a large pot, pour in the beer. Set over high heat and cook until the mussels open.

Use sharp scissors or a knife to remove one half of the mussel shell.

In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, cheese, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the mixture over each mussel.

Place the prepared mussel boats on a baking tray and bake for 7–10 minutes at 190°C. Mussels are best served warm.
