Step 1
Wash pork, put in pot with water and bring to boil. Peel 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 parsley root and celery root, fry in dry hot pan for 4 minutes. Remove foam from broth, add fried vegetables and roots, salt and cook for 40 minutes. 10 minutes before done add peppercorns and 1 bay leaf. Remove meat. Strain broth and bring to boil again.
Step 2
Squeeze and chop cabbage. Put in clean pot and simmer, gradually adding broth, for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Peel remaining onions, carrots and parsley, cut into strips. Wash and chop parsley. Fry in butter for 4 minutes. Rinse millet. Grind bacon in meat grinder and mix with herbs and millet.
Step 4
Peel potatoes, cut into strips, add to broth, cook for 10 minutes. Add stewed cabbage.
Step 5
Add bacon with millet, remaining bay leaf and fried onions, carrots and parsley. Cook for 20 minutes.
Step 6
Cut pork into serving pieces and arrange on plates. Pour soup.
