Luhansk-style roll is a traditional dish of Donbas, especially popular in Luhansk. Made from pork or beef with a filling of garlic, herbs and spices. The meat is thinly pounded, stuffed, rolled into a roll and baked until golden brown. The dish turns out juicy, aromatic and very satisfying. Served hot with mashed potatoes or vegetable side dish.

| Butter | 1 tbsp |
| Milk | 5 tbsp |
| Onion | 1 pc. |
| Carrot (medium) | 2 pc. |
| Eggs | 2 pc. |
| Pork | 500 g |
| Beef | 200 g |

Boil carrots until tender, let cool and peel. Beat eggs with milk, salt and pepper, pour into pan with heated butter and fry for 6-7 minutes until omelet is done.

Cut meat into pieces, grind through meat grinder. Mix with starch, salt, pepper and 1-2 tbsp water. Place mince on cloth, put omelet and carrots in center. Roll mince with filling into roll, wrap tightly in cloth and tie with string.

Put roll in boiling salted water and cook for 25-30 minutes on low heat. Then remove cloth, cool roll and slice.
