Prepare the ingredients.

Melt the butter in the olive oil. Once hot, add finely chopped chili pepper (in my case, it wasn’t too hot, so I left it in the oil, but usually it’s removed after 30 seconds if very spicy), herbs (no need to chop), finely chopped garlic, and immediately add the shrimp. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the shrimp, fry for about 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Flip the shrimp, sprinkle with parsley, fry for another 2 minutes, and turn off the heat – done! The shrimp are ready. The key is not to overcook them, or they’ll become rubbery. Sprinkle with parsley.

That’s it! Shrimp go perfectly with white rice drizzled with soy sauce, and a lime to squeeze over the shrimp while eating. You can serve it with green tea.
