Fish in cream on a vegetable "pillow" is a sophisticated yet easy-to-make dish. White fish fillet (cod, haddock, sea bass) is placed on a bed of stewed zucchini, carrots and onions, covered with herbed cream and baked until golden. The vegetables absorb fish juices and cream sauce, creating harmonious flavors. The dish turns out tender, nutritious and suitable even for children"s menu. Served immediately in individual pots.

trout 500 g
Carrot 2 pc.
Onion 1 pc.
cream 11–22% fat 200 ml
Spices to taste
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp

Cut the onion into thin half-rings, place on the bottom of a baking dish greased with a small amount of vegetable oil. If desired, the onion can be slightly sautéed.

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, place on the onions, add pepper.

Place sliced fish fillets on top. Pour everything with cream, salt and pepper to taste.

Place in a preheated oven, bake for ~20-30 minutes after boiling.
