Childhood Crisps

Childhood Crisps are crispy cookies that many remember from Soviet times. They are made from simple ingredients: flour, sugar, butter and sour cream. The dough is rolled out very thin, cut into squares and baked until golden. The result is delicate, crispy and moderately sweet cookies that go perfectly with tea or coffee.

Salt 1 pinch
Milk 6 tbsp
Flour 2 cup
Vodka 50 g
Eggs 3 pc.

Combine eggs with vodka and mix thoroughly. Pour 2 tbsp of flour into a bowl, add vodka with eggs, mix everything carefully.

Add milk, sugar, a pinch of salt and gradually add more flour (if needed).

Roll out the dough into a thin layer, cut it into squares, make a 2-3 cm cut in the middle of each square.

Pull one end of the square through the hole in the middle.

Fry in a heated pan with plenty of vegetable oil.

Place the finished crisps on a paper towel to drain the oil, then dust with powdered sugar and cinnamon!
